Counsel Mortgage is founded by John Rapasky. In addition to being a licensed mortgage broker, Mr. Rapasky became a CPA in 1986 and an attorney in 1991. As more mortgage products and options came into the market, he saw a need to counsel consumers to help them find the right mortgage. He started Counsel Mortgage for this purpose.
Ken Janzen is a Senior Mortgage Consultant with Counsel Mortgage. He possesses 30 years of experience in mortgage lending and real estate finance. He has owned and managed a California based mortgage brokerage for ten years, worked nine years in correspondent-wholesale lending for one of the world’s largest financial services companies, and served as the licensed mortgage broker for a national corporate relocation firm.
Counsel Mortgage is licensed by the State of Arizona as a mortgage brokerage. We have relationships with many banks, insurance companies, and private investors and have access to wholesale rates and products that are not directly available to the public.
